Cornish sketches
Cornwall is such a beautiful county, in the far southwest corner of England. There’s no wonder it has a long history attracting artists of all kinds, both visiting and permanently settling, in order to take advantage of the favourable weather and incredible light that this region offers.
I’m not immune from Cornwall’s unique charms and have sketched its old buildings, colourful harbours and quaint narrow streets and lanes, on every visit for the last 25 years.
As always, I’m more likely to be found sketching the more intimate corners of a place, rather the grand vista. Here are some sketches from, previous visits, and l’m looking forward to visiting again soon for more sketching.
